Privacy Policy

Last updated 21 September 2026. The Winding Room LLC is a Wyoming limited liability company based in North Dakota, United States.

What we collect

When you order: your name, email address, phone number if you give it, and billing and shipping addresses. When you browse: the pages you visit and basic technical data such as browser type, used to run the site and keep your cart.

Payments

Card payments are processed by Stripe. Your card number goes directly to Stripe and never touches our servers. Stripe’s privacy policy is at stripe.com/privacy.

How we use it

To take, ship and support your order, to handle returns and warranty claims, to prevent fraud, and to meet tax and accounting obligations. We send marketing email only if you opt in, and every marketing email has an unsubscribe link.

Who we share it with

Only the services needed to run the store: our payment processor, our web host, the carrier and fulfilment partner who deliver your order, and Meta, which measures our advertising (see Cookies and advertising below). We do not sell or rent your personal information.

Cookies and advertising

The site uses cookies that are needed for the cart, checkout and fraud prevention.

We also use the Meta Pixel, a tool from Meta Platforms, to measure which of our ads lead to visits and purchases. It records the pages you view and actions such as adding an item to your cart, starting checkout or completing a purchase, along with technical data such as your IP address and browser. If you enter your name, email address or phone number at checkout, a scrambled (hashed) version may be sent so Meta can match the visit to an account. Meta may use this to show you our ads on Facebook and Instagram.

You can limit this in your Facebook and Instagram ad preferences, or block it with your browser’s tracking protection or an ad blocker. The store works normally either way.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept for as long as tax law requires, generally seven years. Everything else is deleted when it is no longer needed.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, subject to what we must keep by law. Email hello@windingroom.com and we will respond within 30 days.
